The Holy Qurbono is the central act of the Orthodox Christian Church. It is the Divine Liturgy celebrated every Sunday and every Feast Day as THE official gathering of the members of the Body of Christ - the Church - as the chosen People of God. With the approval of the Holy Synod of Bishops of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church, the Liturgical Resource Development team has worked diligently to make a service book for the Holy Qurbono that can be used for all parishes outside of the state of Kerala, India.
The Service Book of the Holy Qurbono features a four-column format which allows worshippers to view commentary and detailed explanations of the Qurbono along with the Qurbono prayers and hymns in English, Manglish, and Malayalam in a seamless, side-by-side arrangement. The book will also include Liturgical Hymns for Feast Days, such as Nativity, the Feast of the Resurrection, the Sanctification of the Church, and so forth, in Malayalam AND - for the first time ever - in English.
